HOMECOMING WEEK: RED WEDNESDAY

I BELIEVE THAT WE CAN WIN!! HUNT DOWN THEM HORNFROGS!!

Hey everyone,

If you haven’t heard already, it’s HOMECOMING WEEK. Tomorrow’s event is Red Wednesday. We hope you can join SDSU VSA in showing AZTEC PRIDE by wearing red! With black hair and red running through our veins, we have been AZTECS before we even knew it. AZTECS RUN DEEP

FIRST SOCIAL WAS A SUCCESS!!!

WE BELIEVE THAT WE CAN WIN!

Hey everyone,

We would like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday, October 1, 2011, for the Boba at the Beach event. It was a great turn out and a lot of people came, including some people from UCSD VSA. We would personally like to thank Internal Vice President Kirk Saechao, External Vice President Huy Ta, Activities Coordinator Lily Duong, and Junior Officer Tony Nguyen for their efforts in making the milk tea and the boba, as well as providing utensils and activities for everyone to enjoy. To those who could not make the event, there’s always our Ice Skating event on Friday, October 14th. :)

Pictures for the event can be found here!

Reminder: Boba at the Beach!

Hey everyone,

Don’t forget that this Saturday, October 1st, is our first social at North Jetty Beach. Don’t forget to bring your swim suits, toys, and friends! This is your chance to hang out with the VSA’s Cabinet as well as other members that you haven’t met yet (because they cannot make the meetings)! There is one more thing that may intrigue you about this fun time at the beach… We are giving out FREE (yes you read right) THAI TEA WITH BOBA. If you like free things, the beach, getting a nice tan or socializing, North Jetty Beach is where you should be this Saturday at 12pm!

NOTICE: We are providing rides at Zura Turnaround at 11am! If you don’t know where Zura Turnaround is, it’s the little parking lot in front of PS3.

We hope you can join us for our first social of the year!

For more information you can e-mail us or check out our facebook event.

Fact of the Week

Hey everyone,

I created “Ninja Say What?” as a way to enlighten those who don’t know much about the Vietnamese culture. Every week I will post up a random fact about Vietnam, its culture and more. Oh dang, NINJA say WHAT?!?!

Fun Fact #1: Vietnam is the largest exporter of cashews in the world.

Analysis: Vietnamese people love them… nuts. I mean I love cashews as much as the next guy but dang. I didn’t know that my people did too. Guess that’s why some Vietnamese people are a little nutty. ;)

YUMMMY IN MY TUMMY INDEED
